It has now become time to return the large crystal chandeliers which illuminate the gallery back into the painting. At an earlier stage, both of them have purposefully disappeared in the course of the painting process. (more…)
With all parts of the scene still in rather sketchy brown-gray tones on the canvas, the gallery spectators might get the impression that the image remains a bit foggy, with the dark parts apparently too light and the light parts too dark. (more…)
